H.E. Byeong-Am Choi

Byeong-Am Choi has three decades of experience in the Korea Forest Service working towards conservation and restoration and is now the Minister of the Korea Forest Service (KFS). Prior to this, he worked as Deputy Minister of the KFS from 2020 to 2021 and Director General of the Planning and Coordination Bureau, KFS, from 2018 to 2020. He holds two Master’s degrees; one for Ecological Economics in the School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds, and the other for Public Administration in the Department of Public Administration at Inha University.
