Director of Inventory and Forest Resources Monitoring
Belinda Arunarwati Margono is the Director of Inventory and Forest Resources Monitoring at the DG of Planning on Forest (Forest Planology) and Environment Government, Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) of Indonesia. She holds a PhD in Geographical Science from the University of Maryland. Her interests focus on forest resource and vegetation monitoring, either at global or national scale. She is a technical coordinator and author for Indonesia’s First Forest Reference Emission Level (FREL) as well as the technical assessment done by UNFCCC. She is also a technical supporter for Indonesia’s One-Map Movement, and its development within the MoEF of Indonesia.
